Restore Disk Fails to Work : Use " Mac Data Recovery"

Apple has recently released the new version of Mac OS X , called Mac OS X 10.6 Leopard. Mac users are very excited to upgrade to Leopard and take benefit of its advanced features. It can easily be installed and used on older Mac machines including iMac G4 series. But in some situations, you may come across the installation problems with older systems. In such cases, you can use method "startup disk"to prevent data loss situations and need of Mac Data Recovery solutions.

In case of system malfunction, startup disk feature of Mac Disk Utility enable you to make a virtual disk so that you can restore your system to previous working state in case of some problems . It includes creating startup disk with the help of Snow Leopard installer that Macintosh OS would restore while installing new operating system.

Restore Disk Can be created through the following steps :

1) Clean the hard drive and system folder. Delete unused extensions, empty unwanted file and Create a back up.

2) Extract the image files from Mac OS X installation DVD and convert it to *.dmg file and move it to the external drive.

3) Attach your USB drive to system and wait until it appears and then launch Disk Utility and select USB drive.

4) Click on Restore tab and select image file that you have extracted on ’source’ field and then drag external disk to ‘destination’ field. You must create

a partition, otherwise the process would remove all data from your hard drive.

5) Select USB drive and the partition. Choose Restore and after restoration completes open System Preferences.

6) Open start-up disk application and select restore drive operation .

Restart the system and operating system to start the installation process.

This is a useful method, But in order to save your data from being lost a back up has to be created. In these cases, you need to perform "erase and Install" installation of Mac OS X and then perform Data Recovery Mac operations.

Mac file Recovery is best possible using Mac Recovery Softwares. They have simple graphical user interface to provide ease of use and efficient scanning techniques to ensure absolute recovery in all cases of data loss.
