Starting error in mac machine

Does the Mac machine with you is displaying errors while booting? this behavior may occur because of missing or corrupt file system of your Mac OS X machine. At this point, you fails to log into your Mac computer and thus all your important data becomes inaccessible. It leads to data loss situations and needs Mac file recovery software to fixe the error, specially if there is no backup in place.

In reality this things arrives when you come across error while booting your Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard computer. The system stops responding and displays a circle and a line in the center of it. Mac OS X does not show any error message at this point. All your important data becomes inaccessible after this behavior.

The problem generally occurs because of many reasons like Virus attack, missing boot sector, corrupt boot loader, boot partition corruption, damaged OS, file system corruption, and hard drive corruption.
1)      Reboot your system by holding down the power button for few seconds.
2)     Check file system integrity problems using Disk Utility or fsck and fix them.
3)      Make sure that your hard drive is not full and you are not running out of disk space on system volume.
4)     Repair permissions of Mac OS X operating system by booting the system using boot DVD and using Disk Utility.
5)     Create an additional user account and boot your system to it.
6)     Start the system in SafeBoot mode. It is a troubleshooting mode of Mac OS X operating system.
7)     Remove all FireWire and USB devices, except mouse.
8)     Remove third-party RAM and other hardware components.
9)     Perform 'Archive and Install' installation of Mac OS X.
10)   Reinstall Mac OS X from scratch.

You should only reinstall the os as a last resort. It removes all the data from your hard disk and leads to further data loss. In such cases, you have to use Mac file recovery software to recover lost data.
